Getting to the yacht trip

The meeting point, as the listing gives it: Wait at the top of the dock by the sign “Pantalán Nº 4”, 15 minutes before your time. Puerto Colón lies at 28°04′07″N 16°44′02″W. From Las Américas it is 2.6 km / 7 min by road, and bus 467 stops nearby. With hotel pickup the operator confirms the time and place after you book; pickups cover the south of the island.

The listing does not say how early to arrive; allow a quarter of an hour to find the right pontoon. Bring jacket, camera, motion sickness prevention, sun hat and sunscreen, as the listing advises. Not allowed on board: feeding animals and nudity. From Puerto de la Cruz it is 67 km, about 62 minutes, to Costa Adeje (bus 343).
